so very blessed--thankful thursday!

Time for another Thankful Thursday post!  I really appreciate those ladies who host this link-up every week... it's a great reminder to take time to intentionally think about and thank God for my many blessings.

I'm so thankful for the opportunity to witness my little sister confirm her Baptismal faith this past weekend.  It was so precious to worship with family and friends, spend time with my parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents, and listen to my sister's personal confession of faith.  I'm so proud of her and so blessed to call her my sister in Christ as well as my sister by blood!

The spring/summer weather we've been having lately is wonderful.  Our weather keeps going back and forth from a little warm to a little cool for May, but I like the variety!

I'm thankful for friends and the dear friends who are in town over the summer!  Usually all our friends are gone over the summer--we do live in a college town, after all--but several of my closer girlfriends are staying to work this summer, and I can't wait to spend time with them.

I am thankful for the good food that God provides us here at home and all the great things I ate over the weekend!  I was spoiled rotten by my mom's cooking AND my aunt's.  It sure was nice to not have to cook (much--I helped with party preparations :) ) or do dishes (not many, anyway) over the weekend!

I'm looking forward to some quality time with my husband this weekend and next week (next Wednesday is a pretty special day for us!  Anyone remember what May 29th is? :) ).  We're both off work for Memorial Day, and I'm so excited and thankful for time together!  I'm also looking forward to the beginning of our crazy wedding-week next Saturday....three weddings in eight days in two states!  It's going to be nuts but SO much fun.  Can't wait to celebrate the marriages of friends (and family)!

As always, I am more thankful for my husband than words can express.  He puts up with SO much from me and loves me no matter what.  He works so very hard to provide for us, is my best friend, my teammate, my greatest encourager, and so much more.  It overwhelms me how much God has blessed me by giving me this amazing man!

What are you thankful for this week?  Let me know in the comments, and let's praise God together!
