Christ {is All to Me}

Welcome to visitors from the A to Z Challenge!  Please leave a comment to let me know you're here, and check out other posts that pique your interest!   Wednesdays are In the Word {of God} Wednesdays at Living in the Light.

My word for this year was FOCUS.  I've been trying to work on keeping my priorities in order--FOCUSING on the most important.

And in my life, the most important thing is Christ.

I admit, sometimes my life doesn't witness to that fact.  Sometimes I quite obviously put other things before Christ Jesus--my own wants and desires, my friends, even my husband.  Whatever is foremost in my thoughts and actions is the most important thing in my life, and unfortunately, sometimes that isn't my Lord and God.

But I take comfort in the fact that the Holy Spirit, working and living in my heart, is always directing me, mind and soul, to Jesus.  So then I can say with Paul:
"I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.  For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain."  Philippians 1:20-21, NIV

  7. Such a great post, so short but yet has so much meaning. I can certainly relate because I put a lot of things before Christ and I am thankful I have the Holy Spirit to lead me back to where I need to be to glorify God :) Thanks for writing this! Such a great post for "C"
